Sunday, August tenth we took your grandparents to China town so they could see what “real” Chinese food tastes like. They loved the food and were impressed at how your Daddy’s speaks Chinese! We walked around for several hours looking at all the shops. They loved how you sing and enjoyed being with you so much! You are a very well behaved little girl!
Pool Party at Aunt Martha’s
Disneyland 2008
August 8th, Uncle Ron, Aunt Mary, Trey, Bo and Uriah came down and we went to Disneyland with Kelina, Malia, Juilus, Jared, Daddy, Mommy and you. The first ride me went on was “Pirates of the Carribean”. It scared you and you cried a little. You didn’t like Mr. Toads Wild Ride Either. You loved Dumbo, just like last year as well the the Teacups and Alice in Wonderland. It’s a Small World was Closed. You fell asleep while waiting in line for Peter Pan which was the one you really wanted to go on. Since you were asleep, we didn’t know how you liked it. When we were walking past a kiosk selling princess items you looked at Daddy and me and said in your most charming voice “What do you want to get me there”. Needless to say we got you a princess hat.
Meeting Great Grandpa or GAGA
 ![]()
August 2nd, 2008 we drove to Fresno to visit your Mom’s, Mom’s, Dad. He lives in an assisted living center. He is 88 now and had a hard time getting around but his mind is as sharp as ever. This was your first time meeting him. He kept saying how beautiful you were. We took him to eat at Chubby’s twice and he really enjoyed the food. Malia asked him how he was doing and he said he was lonely. She asked him if he wanted to come live with us and he said “I’m not that lonely”. Kelina, Malia, Julius, Jared and you took the car to Target to buy some swimsuits so you could go swimming in the hotel swimming pool. The car broke down and Julius had to drive while Kelina, Malia and Jared pushed it. You were crying and when you came back to the hotel you told Daddy and Mommy all about the battery being dead. We had to leave our car in Fresno and Auntie Mary and Uncle Ron drove it down when they came down to see us. Fortunately it was only a loose battery cable and it cost $88.80 to fix it.
Pool
Ever since we left our old apartment, we realized how much we miss having a pool. During the hot summer, having a pool would be a really nice thing to have to cool off in.
But since we moved into our new house that didn’t have a pool, we had to improvise.
Pool #1 didn’t quite work. Only you could barely fit. Just your butt. The rest of us couldn’t get in.

Pool #2. Okay. That’s a little better. You could fit half of your body, but still, the rest of us couldn’t fit.
Pool #3. That’s much better! You could totally fit and swim and the rest of us could join you! Woohoo!! Happy swimming!
