\nAugust 2nd, 2008 we drove to Fresno to visit your Mom’s, Mom’s, Dad.\u00c2\u00a0 He lives in an assisted living center.\u00c2\u00a0 He is 88 now and had a hard time getting around but his mind is as sharp as ever.\u00c2\u00a0 This was your first time meeting him.\u00c2\u00a0 He kept saying how beautiful you were.\u00c2\u00a0 We took him to eat at Chubby’s twice and he really enjoyed the food.\u00c2\u00a0 Malia asked him how he was doing and he said he was lonely.\u00c2\u00a0 She asked him if he wanted to come live with us and he said “I’m not that lonely”.\u00c2\u00a0 Kelina, Malia, Julius, Jared and you took the car to Target to buy some swimsuits so you could go swimming in the hotel swimming pool.\u00c2\u00a0 The car broke down and Julius had to drive while Kelina, Malia and Jared pushed it.\u00c2\u00a0 You were crying and when you came back to the hotel you told Daddy and Mommy all about the battery being dead.\u00c2\u00a0 We had to leave our car in Fresno and Auntie Mary and Uncle Ron drove it down when they came down to see us.\u00c2\u00a0 Fortunately it was only a loose battery cable and it cost $88.80 to fix it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
